Sam’s suggested reading and research

So, ‘Doaist Nei Gong, the Philosophical Art of Change’ by Damo Mitchell is an introduction to concepts and process of Nei Gong and there are numerous videos about Nei Gong on Youtube. The ones by ‘Lotus Nei Gong’ are at a more advanced levels so best avoided by beginners.

‘Inside Zhan Zhuang’ by Mark Cohen is a guide to Zhan Zhuang – the practice of movement within stillness. There is lots of stuff on Youtube but it’s not very comprehensive. This book gives you all you need from beginner to intermediate level.

And finally ‘Tai Chi Health for Life’ by Bruce Frantzis. This is a comprehensive book on everything about Tai Chi except how to do it. It’s designed as a complementary guide that goes with a practitioner’s attendance at a local Tai Chi class.

These three resources will lead the practitioner into many other topics and practices that will develop a healthier lifestyle. However, before buying a book it would be best to explore the subjects a little on line to make sure they are of interest.
